Way #948 (I like random numbers)

When I wake up everyday, I maneuver around the diapers that have fallen out of the package, the toys littering the living room and the pieces of 'essential' baby items. I notice the burp cloth that was used through the night, the bunch of blankets that I use at different times. Then I look in the corner, and see the most beautiful baby sleeping peacefully, or beginning the noise making that will eventually wake her up completely. I also hear another girl, upstairs, talking to herself, her toys, and sometimes, me. I hate getting out of bed, but the idea of spending all day with a crying baby and a toddler with her mama's attitude makes me smile.
You know you're a mama when even the worst of days start looking up because you have a child to say and do the right thing, even if it's just a kick to your ribs, hips, and/or bladder, or an adult calling mom to say hey.
